We are expanding our team and now looking for a Chef de Partie to work in our busy seafront Inn so experience in a high volume establishment is essential. 

Job title: Chef de Partie, from £20k full time annual salary, part time hours will be pro rata

Responsible to: Executive Chef.


To assist with all day-to-day kitchen food preparation, production and service of food to guests.  Ensuring the smooth and cost effective running of food provision services.

Key tasks:
Food service to guests

To ensure food preparation is of the highest standards.

Ordering, stock control and appropriate storage of all products maintain correct levels of all essential foodstuffs.

Maintain a flexible approach, ensuring guests reasonable needs are catered for.

Work with the Company’s other Chefs and Management to ensure economies of purchasing are maximised.

Maintain accurate records regarding ordering, purchasing and usage and minimise food wastage.

Ensure kitchen staff are appropriately trained.  Demonstrate and enforce the highest health, safety and hygiene standards at all times.

To be polite, attentive, courteous and helpful to all guests at all times.
